Welcome to my Blogging from A to Z April Challenge for 2019! The A to Z Challenge is a blogging event held each April. Bloggers create posts from A to Z beginning on April 1st and ending on April 30th. There is a post scheduled for each day of the month (except for Sundays) with each day corresponding to a sequential letter of the alphabet.
Today is the day for letter T...and it's a triple threat (see what I did there?). T is for Tape Truck Track. Yay for alliteration!
The Boy loves cars. Seriously. Things with wheels are his favorite things to play with. When it comes to play, anything that can incorporate this love is usually a pretty good time. So this activity was a pretty solid win.
As I've mentioned in other posts (and you've no doubt seen in the pictures), we have a fairly open floor plan with a good chunk of hardwood real estate to play in on our main floor. I grabbed a roll of painter's tape we had laying around (this particular roll is Frog Tape), and hit the floor.
I taped out a race track wide enough for his biggest vehicles and showed him what to do. He tooled around with different cars and trucks for about three days. Easy entertainment!
When we were done with play, I grabbed the roll and wrapped the tape back up on it. No mess left on the floor, no damage to the hardwood, and we have the tape to use again if I want to pull it back out. If not, we just chuck the tape and buy a new roll next time.
In keeping with the letter of the day...he had a terrific time!
Are you an A to Z Blogger too? Leave me a comment so I can repay the visit.
