Classics Spin is a challenge hosted by The Classics Club. And...once again...I'm going to do it differently. I'm just a different kind of girl. Like theirs, I will be making a list of twenty classic books. I will also be randomly selecting a number. However, this is where it changes. I will be moving on my own schedule, giving myself a book assignment once a quarter (every 3 months).
The first book for this round was selected on January 1st, 2018 and has to be finished by March 31st. The second book gets selected April 1st, 2018 and has to be finished by June 30th...and so on, until I've read them all. If I happen to read more than one spin in a quarter, then I can have a "free pass" for the following quarter, extending my time for the next spin to a whopping 6 months if I so choose.
I'll be selecting my classics from other challenge lists here on the blog...that way I get two birds with one stone, so to speak.
I'll be posting the list of classics on this page and then placing the reading dates in parentheses next to the books as they are selected as well as turning the title and dates green. When I'm finished, they'll be linked to a review (if applicable), and the completion date will be added to the parenthesis (replacing the reading date range).
This round started on January 1st, 2018! I've chosen my list of classics selectively...because I can. My only rule was that each author could only be featured once. Let's see how I do this time around...
