1001 Books to Read Before You Die

Source

The 1001 Books to Read Before You Die is a popular reading challenge based on Peter Boxall's book, 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die. The list is compiled by over one hundred literary critics and contains novels, short stories, and short story collections along with one pamphlet, one book of collected text, and one graphic novel.

The goal is obvious...read each of these books at some point in your lifetime.

This will be an ongoing updating list. Books that I read will be marked out with a red strikethrough. Books completed after tracking began (2011) will also have the month/year indicated to the right of the title.
