I ran this challenge twice prior, once for a three-year term and the second for an abbreviated three-year term. At that point, I decided that three years was not a reasonable length of time to complete the challenge. So I am restarting the challenge on January 1, 2020 as a five-year term.
The third reincarnation of the challenge begins on January 1, 2020 and will run until December 31, 2024. During that time, I need to read at least one book set in each of the fifty states. I can only use each book once and the book must be set in that state for a substantial amount of the book (at least 1/3). It can't be used as just a pass through.
As I finish the books, I will list them here next to their state, as well as the date they were finished. In addition, I'll be coloring in the map below as each state is conquered. Here's to reading across the United States!
