Pumpkin Preview #5 - Continuation of the Carving

Slowly but surely this is coming together. I'm still carving away.

Tonight...a preview of some of the carvings. Yay!!!

Ghost...all that's left is to pain his dowel.

(Please excuse the quality of the photos...I've just been grabbing shots when I have a couple of seconds to rub together.)

Bride of Frankenstein. I'm currently working on her hair.
Collin has started assembling the front yard and we now have four full monsters assembled along with one of the flying bats.

The Headless Horseman's Horse Head...AKA the Boise State Bronco Logo
I have a lot of work left to do, but I'm glad things are starting to look good.

The Headless Horseman's Head
One of the neighbors came over this evening while Collin was assembling to let him know that they're looking forward to seeing what we're up to. Thus far, all of the monsters are covered under garbage bags...keeping things a secret.

The Grim Reaper
I have to go back out later tonight to "regoop" the faces with petroleum jelly to keep things from drying out. Fingers are crossed that everyone makes it to Wednesday night still looking nice.

The Witch...hat to be added.
Five more completions since last night. Tomorrow should be a big jump in the numbers.
