Summer has officially ended...well, officially unofficially. Technically, fall doesn't begin until September 23rd, but let's all just agree that we can call Labor Day a pretty good bookend for the summer months.
The end of summer means the end of summer book bingo. The Books on the Nightstand Summer Book Bingo Challenge has come to a close.
If you remember waaayyy back to Memorial Day(ish), I started off with this:
Believe it or not, I managed to snag myself a bingo! Hooray for Bout of Books for pushing me to finish some great books and helping me to make the final score.
Qualifying reads:
1. Set during a war or conflict:
Recommended/lent by Patti.
Part of the Blume-a-Long hosted by Entomology of a Bookworm.
3. Published in 2015:
Fantastic ARC that I was lucky enough to snag.
4. Six or more words in the title:
Another amazing ARC that got finished just in the nick of time.
5. That you think you will dislike:
Part of my Classics Spin and not a bad little read.
6. Young adult novel:
A GREAT read that was gifted to me by the author, a blogging friend.
7. With an animal as a key character:
A Goodreads First Read that had me on the edge of my seat.
8. That you saw someone else reading:
EVERYONE has been reading this one and raving (me included). I snagged myself an ARC.
9. Set in another country:
Yet another ARC. A beautiful epic of a read.
It was a summer of magical reading. I was very lucky to have such a great batch of books. I'm looking forward to even more amazing novels in the fall.
Woohoo, you nailed it! Congratulations. :) I'm SUPER pumped that Summer Sisters helped you get there.
