Bout of Books 20: Update 2

Well...hello again, readers! How's your week been going? I've been fitting a little reading in here and there and am slowly returning to a regular reading schedule. While it hasn't been my usual read-a-thon reading time devotion, it's certainly been nice to feel like I can realistically begin squeezing reading back into my every day life.

We've been busy getting things out of the garden and starting canning season while also selling our summer piglets and beginning to prepare for winter. How did the summer go by so fast? Today is cloudy and a little cooler at around 60 degrees, so it's like a little taste of fall. While fall is my favorite season, the weather is also reminding me that we only have a little time left to get our outdoor projects done before the snow starts flying. Gah!

On the upside, this cloudy and windy day is a perfect one for snuggling up with a book. I plan to make that happen for at least a little while before the day is out.

Here's how I've been doing so far...

Currently Reading:

This took me a bit to get into, but now it's reading pretty smoothly. I'm a bit over halfway through. I have so many questions about the world she's created that I keep drifting off into my own curiosity. Hopefully she'll clear up some of the mysteries for me as I continue in this trilogy.

Completed Books:

I finished this one on Tuesday. A 4-star read worth picking up.

Completed Books with Brecken:

Overall Stats:

I've made some progress in the last couple of days

I had a small moment of panic earlier today when I thought that it was Saturday. I was bummed, thinking I had missed the second Twitter chat. It made me pretty happy to realize that today is actually Friday. That's what happens when you live on a farm and your significant other has an oddball work schedule.

And now...back to the books!

    1. Thanks! I like having something to motivate me. Checkmarks are cathartic in a way. Haha...I didn't think about it, but he probably was the youngest Bout of Booker! :)
